It is very convenient for traveler to have unlimited travel to discover the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast by bus or tram service. It only costs AUD 10 a day for adults and AUD 5 for children. Children under 5 years travel free.

Therefore, if you were going for 5 days, it only cost you AUD 50 (Unlimited travel), which is RM 157 per person and difference about RM 100 compared to my schedule.

【DAY1 📝25/8/2016】

Puchong 🚗 KLIA2 with Grab Car ✈️ Gold Coast International Airport reached around 6.25 am

Airport Transfer 🚐 to Budds in Surfers Backpacker 🏨

Around 9.30 AM, we took the Shuttle bus 🚌 from our backpacker’s hotel 🏨 to Dreamworld 🎠🎡

At 5 pm back, we took the shuttle bus 🚌 back to our backpacker’s hotel 🏨

Once we reached, we walk to the SkyPoint Observatory deck 🔭and took the elevator up to the 77^th floor. It is the only beachside observatory deck in Australia where you can sit, relax and enjoy the 360-degree view on Gold Coast beaches 🏖 to the Hinterland and beyond. There is also the Skypoint Bistro ➕ Bar that you can have some drinks and grab some bites while enjoying the magnificent view from the 77^th floor.

After the visiting SkyPoint Observatory deck 🔭, we went searching for foods 🍽. We found Baritalia, the Italian Restaurant and felt the environment and the food looks tempting. Therefore, we chose this Italian restaurant and the result was satisfying 👍. We tried their Porchetta...Roast Pork 🍗 and it taste amazing.

After the satisfying meal🍽, we went back room to have a rest 🛌😍❗

【DAY2📝26/8/2016】

It was very cooling in the morning that we felt reluctant to wake up. However, our feet 👣dragged us out of bed 🛌. We took our breakfast with Budds Surfer Backpacker (Included with our stay). Although it was just a simple breakfast, bread 🍞, cornflakes🌽 and tea☕, it was sufficient for both of us.

Our shuttle bus reached and 8:30 am and depart to SeaWorld, which is near to our next stop to watch the whales with Spirit of Whales. We depart from the cruise at sharped 9:30 am. The tour is about 2.5 hours and they provided:

✔ 360-degree views and fully licensed bar

✔ Professional crew with detailed commentary

✔ Whale guarantee (Depends on the weather)

We have a great experience with Spirit of Whales and we managed to see the humpback whales 🐳 and dolphins 🐋 playing around in the sea in front of our eyes. We manage to see them performing spy – hopping, tail slaps and numerous breaches. It was an amazing experience❗

Once we were back to land, we took our shuttle bus 🚌 back to the place near our stay 🏨. Our stomach was growling and we stroll around the street to look for a place to have our lunch. We found ALL PHO U, Vietnamese cuisine and since they offered Asian dish with rice 🍚, therefore, we chose them. My sister needs rice (In Chinese we call them “Fan Tong” haha); therefore, we took our lunch here. We were so hungry that we gobbled up the foods once they reached our table. The foods were okay, it could be due to we are too hungry. 😂 But overall, the services, food, price, and environment there is okay.

After our lunch, we walked around surfer’s paradise street, and then we went to surfer’s paradise beach 🏖 🌊, which is nearby our backpacker’s hotel🏨for a walk 🚶‍🚶‍, and enjoy the cool wind 🌬 and lovely weather. Our next activity is around 3 pm and we have sufficient time to walk around since the station is just a few minutes away from our stay. We booked Jetboat Extreme🚤 from Viator at 3 pm. You may check out another website such as Experienceoz which is cheaper compared to if you purchase directly from their website. Around 2.45 pm, we walk to the designated stop for us to board the boat, and they brief us with the safety precaution and provide us with waterproof and safety jacket. With Jetboat extreme, we experience to view the most stunning scenery and enjoy the thrilling and adrenaline rush with this Jetboat ride.

It was so tiring and exhausted after the activity; therefore, we went to Helm Bar & Bistro nearby to grab a bite. We ordered some snacks, wings, and pizza🍕 with a glass of beer🍺 and red wine🍷.

This bar is a nice place to chill around and chitchat. We stay for some time before we walk back to our hotel🏨 and took some lovely photos. 😂

We end the day by walking around the streets and bought some souvenirs for our family and friends 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦.

【DAY3📝27/8/2016】

We woke up early and took our breakfast🍽 before our shuttle bus🚌 to Movieworld🎥🗺arrived. Sharp nine, we board the bus and off we go to Movieworld. We were excited as we reach our destination. We stay there until around 4:30 pm and took the shuttle bus back to our hotel🏨. We reach in time to take our dinner. We ate kebab and subway for our dinner as we are not very hungry yet. The kebab with lamb and chicken was so tasty and filled our stomach nicely.

After completed our dinner, we walked around and saw a 7D Cinema🎥 seems interesting.  Therefore, we watch two shows before heading back to the hotel🏨. One show cost about AUD 13 per person, they gave us the discount to AUD 10 for the second show. If you purchase more show, it will be cheaper.

The show was simple but we both were enjoying it 😍

【DAY4📝16/4】

Another exciting day and good weather. Since we have used up the three theme park shuttle bus🚌, therefore, on the 4^th day we bought the Go Explore card💳for about AUD 10. With this card, we can enjoy unlimited travel on bus🚌 and tram🚋. We board a bus and went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, you can check out their show schedule such as Australiana show on wool shearing, free flight bird🕊 show, crocodile lives, etc. We also met with koalas🐨, kangaroos, lorikeets🐦, dingo🐶, quokka, pelican, crocodile🐊, eagle🦅, etc. You really can spend the whole day here.😋Once we were done, we took the bus🚌 back to surfers paradise. Since it was the last day here, therefore we decided to rent a bicycle and cycle around the esplanade. I rent a scooter🛴 meanwhile my sis rent a bicycle🚲 and we ride around the esplanade at surfer’s paradise. After the ride, we proceed to have our dinner at KITTY O’ SHEA’S bar and restaurant. Their foods and environment are as good as their name. 😂 Since it is the last day of our trip, therefore, we ordered something better which is lamb stew🥩, roast pumpkin salad🍲 and a bottle of crisp apple cider🍶. We went back to our hotel after strolling along the streets in surfer’s paradise.

【DAY5📝17/4】

Our flight was at 7:00 am; therefore, we woke up very early and take the airport transfer bus back to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay in Budds Surfers Paradise so much and Gold Coast is very nice and peaceful place to travel. 😚
